Suspension Kit for Rugged TROLL

When your deployment of the Rugged TROLL® 200 or Rugged BaroTROLL® instrument

requires securing the cable to a carabiner or other secure fastener, In-Situ® Inc. recommends

using the suspension kit described here. This connector can support a combined cable and

instrument weight of up to 100 lbs (45.4 kg).

PLACING THE CONNECTOR ON THE CABLE

Determine how far from the uphole end of the cable the connector should be placed.1.

Make a loop in the cable and loosely bind it with one zip tie. 2.

Place the metal loop inside the cable loop. Push the zip tie up to form a tight band around 3.
